About us

Warehouse TERRADA brings together a diverse range of art forms to Tennoz Isle, making it a hotspot for the production of artistic culture. The current occupants include: TAC GALLERY SPACE, a venue capable of exhibiting large artworks; TERRADA ART ASSIST Co., Ltd., a total art solutions company; TAC ART STUDIO, a studio complex for artists; as well as a campus for the “Artwork Restoration Course at Yokohama University of Art & Design – Tennoz Satellite,” a university course which educates future professionals in restoration and preservation science.

Message from the Commissioner for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan, to TERRADA ART COMPLEX

I am delighted that the “Warehouse TERRADA Collaborative Course in Restoration and Preservation,” established by Yokohama University of Art and Design, will be launching a satellite campus in the TERRADA ART COMPLEX, a center for worldwide contemporary art galleries, creating a new hotspot for art in central Tokyo.
TERRADA ART COMPLEX was renovated from a warehouse into an attractive art space with high ceilings, which now houses leading contemporary Japanese art galleries. Yokohama University of Art and Design has established a satellite campus within the TERRADA ART COMPLEX, creating an unprecedented center for arts collaboration between industry and academia.
I have high expectations that the TERRADA ART COMPLEX will function as a new junction for art, in educating young and talented people, as well as contributing to the growth of the art market in Japan.
